Hi Kevin,

it might sound as a stupid advice but, have you restarted NetworkManager after
installing ModemManager?

Because if you installed ModemManager and/or NetworkManager-wwan and
you didn't restart it NM won't be able to talk to
ModemManager and will thus not find the cdc-wdm0 device.

If this is not the issue please collect a TRACE-enabled log of
NetworkManager[1] so that we can inspect it.
