Hi,

what's the output of `nmcli device` and `nmcli connection` after
returning from suspend?

best,
Thomas

Hi,

there we go:

[oppa@localhost ~]$ LANG=C && nmcli device
DEVICE      TYPE      STATE        CONNECTION
virbr0      bridge    connected    virbr0
enp3s0      ethernet  unavailable  --
lo          loopback  unmanaged    --
virbr0-nic  tun       unmanaged    --

[oppa@localhost ~]$ nmcli connection
NAME    UUID                                  TYPE      DEVICE
virbr0  6e6ab243-eb45-49eb-919e-f296f4cf0219  bridge    virbr0
enp3s0  3e941d75-3763-3d91-98e8-0044a42c1803  ethernet  --

[oppa@localhost ~]$ inxi -N
Network: Card: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver: r8169

[oppa@localhost ~]$ lsmod | grep r8169
r8169                  94208  0
mii                    16384  1 r8169

[oppa@localhost ~]$ systemctl status NetworkManager
* NetworkManager.service - Network Manager

           `-813 /usr/sbin/NetworkManager --no-daemon

Warning: Journal has been rotated since unit was started. Log output is incomplete or unavailable.

It's even removed from the Gnome system menu where this network icon is. Just empty space there. I tried a systemctl restart NetworkManager and found this about the device in the log:

Mai 15 12:10:49 localhost.localdomain NetworkManager[8353]: <info> [1526379049.7699] device (enp3s0): state change: unmanaged -> unavailable (reason 'managed', sys-iface-state: 'external') Mai 15 12:10:49 localhost.localdomain NetworkManager[8353]: <info> [1526379049.7688] manager: (enp3s0): new Ethernet device (/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/2)

Unavailable, reason managed ...HUH ?

Regards,
Stephan
