Fair enough for me - we will be aiming to hook our product rootfs into the latest version possible at release time. PS - will there be a 1.8 tag/tarball happening sometime soon?
There is already 1.8-rc1, more release candidate snapshots will follow. The final 1.8.0 release will happen latest end of April. Thomas
