I'm in the same boat at the moment - deploying enterprise wireless and
using machine auth for certain components in mac/windows, but looking
last week for how to accomplish machine authentication lead me to find
little under linux.
Seems this might need to be lower in the stack than networkmanager
though, as windows machine auth starts at login, and mac's start with
filevault at efi or login.
Has there been any prior discussion about how to accomplish this in
linux, or if it's feasible? It's been a standard deployment model to
utilize the machine auth component for both wired and wireless .1x
models, and without some form of posture agent analysis or
integrated/managed secure cert storage under linux, becomes necessary..

Hi,
I have windows client environment and machine authentication with AD has
been enabled and it is working fine.
I am now planning to use linux clients and want to implement machine
authentication. Is there a way to implement it using network manager? If
yes then please share doc/link for the same?
