Thanks for confirming this. After some fiddling around, I managed to
find a config that actually worked, which I'll include here in case
someone else having the same problem stumbles upon this thread. The
following goes in a file in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/:

[bluetooth]
bdaddr=AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF

(I'm pretty sure it'll only work if the devices are already paired.)
