Yes, I've got a branch here:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/log/?h=dcbw/shared-ip
that allows custom IP ranges for shared connections. But I haven't had
time to test it on BE arches like PPC yet and make sure the IP
arithmetic works there. If anyone could do that, I'd be much obliged,
then I could merge it.
