Hi all.
============================================================================================
Sascha helped me in re-testing this from a fresh perspective.
============================================================================================
The steps followed were (please see
http://people.sugarlabs.org/ajay/root/Modem_Issue/ for all the relevant files) ::
a)
Ensure that the modem is connected.
b)
"sh -x s.sh"
c)
"python disable-pin.py"
(
This disables the PIN for the modem; if not already).d)
Wait for some time, to get the modem registered.
e)
"nmcli con up id "System GSM""
Following d), we got the NM logs (messages) and MM logs (modem.logs), as present in the zip files at
http://people.sugarlabs.org/ajay/root/Modem_Issue/
============================================================================================
Please note that "MM 0.5.zip" logs are with ::
NetworkManager-0.8.1-9.git20100831.fc14.i686
(MM built from)
http://bigw.org/~dan/ModemManager-0.5.3.0-1.git20120606.fc15.src.rpm
and "MM 0.4.zip" logs are with ::
NetworkManager-0.8.1-9.git20100831.fc14.i686
ModemManager-0.4-4.git20100720.fc14.i686
============================================================================================
We will be grateful for any insight from you guys, for what may be going wrong.
We will be happy to provide any more info that may be required.
Looking forward to a reply.
Thanks and Regards,
Ajay
