NetworkManager-0.8.2 couldn't start system-wide shared ad-hoc connection automatically

nm-system-settings.conf:
[main]
plugins=keyfile

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Using nm-applet, select 'Edit Connections...' and add a new wireless
connection.
2. In the 'Wireless' tab, input any SSID and select 'Mode' as 'Ad-hoc'.
3. In the 'IPv4 Settings' tab, select 'Method' as 'Shared to other computers.
4. In the 'Wireless Security' tab, select 'Security' as 'WEP 40/128-bit Key'
and assign any key.
5. Select 'Available to all users' and 'Connect automatically'
checkbox and save.
6. Reboot

Relevant result the first time starting NetworkManager:
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Config: added 'scan_ssid' value '1'
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Config: added 'key_mgmt' value 'NONE'
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Config: added 'auth_alg' value 'OPEN'
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Config: added 'wep_key0' value '<omitted>'
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Config: added 'wep_tx_keyidx' value '0'
NetworkManager[2630]: dbus_g_proxy_begin_call: assertion
`DBUS_IS_G_PROXY (proxy)' failed
NetworkManager[2630]: nm_supplicant_info_set_call: assertion `call !=
NULL' failed
NetworkManager[2630]: <error> [1296126983.27506]
[nm-device-wifi.c:3329] real_act_stage2_config(): Activation
(wlan0/wireless): couldn't send wireless configuration to the
supplicant.
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> (wlan0): device state change: 5 -> 9
(reason 9)
NetworkManager[2630]: <warn> Activation (wlan0) failed for access point (blah)
NetworkManager[2630]: <info> Marking connection 'Wireless connection 1' invalid.
NetworkManager[2630]: <warn> Activation (wlan0) failed.

But when I restart NetworkManager, the connection could be started
automatically. It just doesn't work *the first time* NM is started.
If a connection is not a shared ad-hoc connection, it doesn't have the problem.
