Is IPv6 supported as well? Is there any reason the VLAN support needs
to be aware of IP/IPv6 configuration, or is it already Layer 3 agnostic?

Will PHYSDEV be assumed from the DEVICE=eth9.93 format as it is in
current initscripts?
