Hmm, have you recently done any system updates, specifically of the
kernel or pptp recently?  That doesn't look specifically NetworkManager
related, but it does appear that something isn't right between you and
the PPTP server.  Any chance you can see if it works in Windows or some
other Linux distro to narrow down where the bug might be?
