NetworkManager... ArchLinux

I'm trying to use networkmanager and my vodafone usb modem in my
ArchLinux machine with no luck...
The usb modem is a huawei e172. the networkmanager is the version 0.7
And it just don't dial anything...
In my ubuntu machine the NM have 3 tabs and it works great... but in
my archlinux it only have 2... i miss the ipv4 one.
No idea what is happening...
