Re: pptp vpn connection - kind of funky...



So, scratch all this... I rebooted once again, redid the config in NM again... 
to only allow the authentication that is permitted on the server and nothing 
else... now it seems to connect just fine again. 

I seriously don't understand this... why it's working now and wasn't before. 

When this first started occurring the VPN tab in NM's configuration dialog 
disappeared. 

If you have any enlightening remarks feel free to share... and also feel free 
to completely ignore me... :)
