That's a general mockup of some ideas that we'd planned on working
towards, yes.  There isn't a hard timeline as of yet; it was also a
"please help figure out the issues" plea so that if people wanted to
mock that up in Python we could actually prototype those designs and see
what worked and what didn't.  Haven't heard of anyone actually doing
that yet though.
