setting the DNS name under NetworkManager

Hi:

I'm trying to find out how to get NetworkManager to set my DNS name.  I
have a dynamic DNS server, so all that is needed is to ask for the name
I want during DHCP, but it seems that NetworkManager doesn't bother to
ask for the system's hostname as a DNS host name.

It did seem to me that this would be part of "making networking simple".
