NetworkManager-pptp plugin

Hi,
Since there is no RPM (for Fedora 8) for the NetworkManager-pptp plugin,
I've been trying to compile it from the SVN... However, I don't want to
splat the existing NetworkManager install and I've been struggling to
separate the plugin out and compile it on it's own. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
Also, is this plugin being actively worked on? It would be very useful for
those of us on the wrong side of a Microsoft VPN!
