Is your SSID really that cryptic? That's uncommon in my experience --
looks more like a WEP key to me, but I suppose they can be whatever you
want.

Does this happen the same if you reboot the machine? Seems to me you've
been messing with this for awhile -- perhaps your machine is in an odd
state.
