Question about iwlist error

When I run iwlist scan on my FC5 laptop I get this error:
Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 20
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 19.
Some things may be broken...
What is its significance and what can be done about it? I am running
the unstable version of NM from September.
