If I start "nm-applet --sm-disable" in a gnome-terminal and then
select a VPN connection, it brings up the dialog and I get this
continuously:
(nm-applet:13945): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_composite:
assertion `dest_x >= 0 && dest_x + dest_width <= dest->width' failed
As soon as I close the VPN connection window, the errors stop. This
also happens when nm-applet is running as normal and I strace it.
When the VPN connection dialog is presented, if I hover the mouse over
the applet icon, it starts flickering. strace shows this over and
over:
[pid 14469] gettimeofday({1196957978, 598218}, NULL) = 0
[pid 14469] poll([{fd=4, events=POLLIN}, {fd=3, events=POLLIN}, {fd=8,
events=POLLIN|POLLPRI}, {fd=10, events=POLLIN|POLLPRI}, {fd=11,
events=POLLIN|POLLPRI}, {fd=12, events=POLLIN|POLLPRI}, {fd=18,
events=POLLIN}, {fd=13, events=POLLIN}], 8, 0) = 0
[pid 14469] write(2, "\n(nm-applet:14469): GdkPixbuf-CR"..., 134) = 134
[pid 14469] read(3, 0x8ba2d98, 4096) = -1 EAGAIN (Resource
temporarily unavailable)
[pid 14469] gettimeofday({1196957978, 598548}, NULL) = 0
I didn't see this mentioned in RH bugzilla for NM in Fedora 8. Is
this a known issue?
/Brian/
