Re: wireless interface not showing up



Ok, I modified the file /etc/network/interfaces according to your
description to the following:

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# This is a list of hotpluggable network interfaces.
# They will be activated automatically by the hotplug subsystem.
auto eth0

# The primary network interface
iface eth0 inet dhcp

#iface eth1 inet dhcp
#wireless-essid doors

>----

Afterwards I restarted it by executing "/etc/init.d/networking restart"
but it doesn't change anything. Other ideas?
