I have exactly the same problem on Asus A6JC CoreDuo laptop.
I commented the eth0 lines in /etc/network/interfaces as I read somewhere though but I still got "no network connexion" too :(

ps...at first I'd thought of including a screenshot, but then didn't know
if this list
excludes or delets attachments. Not that it's necessary for describing the
problem, but I thought I'd ask.
