NetworkManager refuses to compile with wireless-tools pre10

When attempting to compile NM latest CVS, I am getting the following
problem, and I am not really sure where to start to look at why - any
ideas on what to look for?

This is with wireless-tools 28 pre10, cvs with the latest changes dated
2005-10-15, and gentoo-sources 2.6.13-r4, which would be related to the
latest 2.6.13 kernel, with a few other patches.
