DNS Server address is deleted

Hi,
I have installed NetworkManager 0.5 from the gnome ftp server on SUSE 10
Whenever the Network Manager starts or Refreshed ... the DNS Server
address of the OS is deleted.
I tried with giving ./configure --without-named.. it is not working...
Is there any option to give with configure....?
Please help me ..
