At this point does network-manager have support to take advantage of
madwifi-ng's ability to scan for networks actively while maintaining a
connection?

Whether it does or doesn't, I really miss the ability to refresh the
wireless network lists by picking a drop down.  Having to disable and
re-enable the interface just ends up being more trouble then sticking to
command line to rescan and reconnect.
