Hi Remi

There's no definitive release date, but we're thinking about a release
in the near future.  I'm waiting for Dodji to get some time to respond
to my last email about the subject :)  I'm not sure what you mean by
'official release candidates', though.  Are you asking for release
candidates to be released before a final release (e.g. 0.4.0RC1
0.4.0RC2, etc)?  Or something else?

Yes, something similar to that is planned for the future, but nobody
has had time to work on it yet.  That said, you might be able to do
some of that stuff already with the variable inspector (F12).  You can
type in variable names there and it will show you information about
it.  I'm not sure if it would allow you to do everything you mentioned
above though (I'm not sure if it will accept array subscripts, for
instance), but it might do all that.  I think that maybe that feature
should be more discoverable somehow, but I'm not sure how...
