Also, have you tried using the Connect to Server dialog? Just click
"Connect to Server" in the Places sidebar, or choose it from the
application menu. It's a helpful dialog: it lists servers you have
connected to in the past, and it makes some effort to detect if it can
connect to the one you enter.

Samba4 does not have NetBIOS integration, therefore, the domain cotroller
will not be visible on the network. Especially with Gnome3, the address bar
has been removed from nautilus, therefore it becomes impossible to connect

introduction of the addess bar in nautilus.
Have you tried Ctrl+L? That should bring back the address bar.
