Samba4 does not have NetBIOS integration, therefore, the domain cotroller will not be visible on the network. Especially with Gnome3, the address bar has been removed from nautilus, therefore it becomes impossible to connect to a CIFS resource that is not broadcasting itselft. I highly suggest the introduction of the addess bar in nautilus.

Have you tried Ctrl+L? That should bring back the address bar.
