Nautilus 2.30 emblem position.

Is there any way to set an emblem _over_ a folder in Nautilus 2.30,
either programatically or by hand?  In 2.38 folder emblems sat over
a closed folder, and at the NE corner of an open folder; the same
change applied to link files.  In 2.30 every emblem sits at the
top right.

This is probably a feature, not a bug, and emblems may go away
soon anyway, but I thought I'd check just in case I'd somehow
messed up the configuration.
