It seems kinda arbitrary to me. So, if you have two such windows (or one
with two tabs) and then you unmount from the menu in one of them then
both windows will close. But if you have only one such window open then
it won't close.

I think a better approach would be to never close the slots in the
window that the unmount operation was initiated from.
