I don't know how extensive the nautilus devs want the D-Bus interface
to be, but I could imagine including most functionality needed by VCS
integration be useful in general, and thus reflected via D-Bus.

There are at least Meld on Gnome and KDiff3 on KDE. Both do 3-way
merges.
