thanks. I didn't know that 'nautilus -q'.
so, the error I'm getting is this.
** (nautilus:14601): CRITICAL **: fm_directory_view_new_file:
assertion `nautilus_file_is_local (source)' failed
My home is on a NFS mount (if that helps any).
