Hi,
I believe only folders tree must expands on hover, if it isn't expanded yet
(like in Windows Explorer).
A folder's opening in main list on hover would break practice/habit of a lot
of people, I guess, this is not a expected behavior for a folder.
But if this feature is usual for Mac users, it would be nice to add it to
possible preferences!

It would be nice that if you hovered a file over a folder the folder
would open up so that you can place it in a sub folder if you wish, and
if you hovered it over a place, that place would open up in the right pane.
It was one of this things I liked about the MACos. It would be nice if I
could get it in nautilus.
