Well... I see it is very hard to do it now, if finally that framework you talked about is done, please, contact me and I'll do my best to integrate it as extension...
Bytheway, you commented me that the key binding functionality was missing in nautlius, I can help on code it but I need some guidance, if you can help me I'll try to code it.
Thanks for you time!

Thanks for your hard work.
I already wrote the following in a private email to a pal of yours, let
me briefly sketch it here again:
Gloobus is a clone of Apple technology (patents pending). Shipping it
bundled with Nautilus is not viable because Apple could sue us.
Shipping it as third-party extension is not possible as well at the
moment, since we do not have an extension framework that allows to add
third-party directory views. Adding this framework is lots of work,
requires the definition of an external stable API, and it does not look
like there are other people who are interested in writing directory
views outside Nautilus. If there three or more third-party projects,
such an extension framework could be considered.
Unfortunately, the consequence is that we can not integrate the
functionality into Nautilus as of writing.
I wish you the best, though!
best regards,
