You can't atm do this in a very nice fashion. But its possible. On the
desktop, use right-click -> create launcher, select type "Location" and
enter the uri. Then drag the file where you want it.
We've always wanted to make this a first-order element in the UI where
you can "make shortcut" to any target like you can currently make
symlinks. However, this just has never been finished.
