The Gtk+ code is just a copy of the search code in nautilus. The dynamic
version of it is availible as a patch (we have it e.g. in fedora), but
its hardly nice code, so it isn't in upstream. Maybe we should add it
anyway, i dunno... It doesn't strike me as super-important when building
from sources.
