File sort order

Hello,
sometimes ti use the # character or $ as the first in a file to make it appear on top of other insignificant files. This is based on the fact that # and $ are before the other letters and thus sorted before them. This worked on windows explorer. Nautilus on the other hand ignores these characters. It would be very handfull if someone could disable this kind of sorting.
