This is why I, after many years of shift-deleting started using the
Trashcan only, and I've come to really appreciate it. I acquired the
habit of delete-at-once many years ago because disks were so limited
then. Finally, after all these years I am free! :)
Due to this, I've much better structure and a much cleaner harddrive
too - because I'm so much braver on my deletes. I rarely have to undo,
but I have the possibility, just like in many other programs.
There was a suggestion on this list a while back about auto-purging
the trash after a certain amount of time (as in days), I'm really
hoping this will get implemented - then I finally can both have the
cake and eat it too. ;-)
