Feature Requests like this don't belong to any distros bugzilla. You are
discussing a Nautilus feature request. I don't think you want Ubuntu to

I don't even agree with Matt's comment to the bug. Any Ubuntu-only
mailing list is the wrong place.

right-click on Window List / Preferences / Window Grouping

It would be a very inconsistent and irritating behavior, if Nautilus
would have windows which are not in the Window List. This is a WM
functionality, and it's up to the Window List to implement the UI
correctly. It's not any apps duty.


[1] If you would want this, you would have posted to ubuntu-devel rather
than nautilus-list anyway... ;-)
