A agree, especially with the tabs! I don't understand you request for
virtual folders yes, and I'd put the search function if one is
implemented into the sidepane, since it is not needed that often. I also
don't like the idea of a double click of the middle mouse button.
But hey I think you just care about switching modes (or changing the
mood, nautilus is in?? ;) ).
