Nautilus as a standalone app

Hello,

Is it possible to run nautilus 2.6.1 as standalone application, not inside
gnome?

I've used to run nautilus in xfce4, however after I upgraded gnome to 2.6
version (debian unstable), nautilus stopped to show folder icons
correctly. I see them all as blank pages with bended corners.

When I run Gnome 2.6 session, icons are shown properly.

So, is there a way to run nautilus separately from gnome?
