The third bug here (representing the file path with buttons like the
file chooser in the nautilus status bar) looks like a good idea to me.
One of the complaints I've seen about the new nautilus is that the
dropdown with the file path isn't very discoverable. I'm not sure how
this would really work (ie: would a double click open a new window,
switch the current window to the clicked window, ?), but it would bring
an air of consistancy to connect nautilus to the rest of gnome.
