A nice presentation

Last week, I attended the WLUG here in Ann Arbor where Chris Lahey presented the latest and greatest features in Nautilus. I thought the presentation was well done & appreciated the chance to ask plenty of questions. In particular, I was pleased to see that many of the features I missed from various apps in the old 1.X days were finding their way back into the source. I even got to talk about the one example of functionality which wasn't planned for reintroduction, the ability to launch a CWD'd terminal window from nautilus, with Chris & was pleased with his response.

All in all, I'd have to say that the opportunity to talk to & try out the new code was a fantastic way to get familiar with the new directions of the source. Thanks for the opportunity & I hope you can afford to continue offering these dog & pony shows to LUGS.

Sincerely,
Evan Carew
