Re: Status of scripting in nautilus

I use the "Open Terminal" script from http://g-scripts.sourceforge.net on a daily Basis with nautilus 2.8.1 (Ubuntu)

----8<---- placed under ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts:
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
#
# Open terminal here
#
# Nautilus script that opens a gnome-terminal at the current location, if it's
# a valid one. This could be done in shell script, but I love Perl!.

if ($_ and m#^file:///#) {
  s/%([0-9A-Fa-f]{2})/chr(hex($1))/eg;
  s#^file://##;
  exec "gnome-terminal --working-directory='$_'";
}
