Hello.
I have just finished installing gnome 2.8.1 on my Suse 9.0 (Linux
2.4.21-260-default #1), using garnome. I have two problems:
1. The gnome-theme-manager crashes during startup. I managed to open it
a couple of times, now I open it, it crashes. This however is in the
bugzilla bug(149236), but no solution to it yet. (and possibly off-topic
in this list)
2. This now is like a show stopper for me, I cannot launch _any_ file
from nautilus. If i double-click any file it brings out a dialog window
with the title "Can't Display Location" and a messege that says
'Couldn't display "/path/to/my/file.ext". There was an error launching
the application'. Where do you configure the file associations, or is
there something missing in my gnome build?
Thank you in advance.
Manulite
