I have a resolution of 1024x768. So I like to use programs like
Evolution maximized in order to see atleast something of a mail.
And to the point of windowing, I can still get the mail composing window
on top of evolution. And on same workspace there ar a few windows, so I
can change between them with alt-tab.
Software I use maximaized: Evolution, GIMP, Mozilla Firebird...
Software I usually don't maximize: Gnome-Terminal, Nautilus...
And only icons I have on the desktop are Home and cd+floppy mounts. Even
trahs is currently disabled. So I don't need those *so* often, coz I
have one nautilus window open, and do get to wehre ever I want to go
from there.
These are just my views, and I'm not saying someone is wrong, I only say
my thoughts about their view compared to my views. I should probably
sugarcoat my comments a bit to make them more reader-friendly.
Petri
