[Nautilus-list] Tabs?

Hello everyone.

I've been thinking lately about usability and nautilus. And one big
thing hit me right smack in my head. TABS... Nearly all of my favorite
apps (Gaim, Galeon, Xchat, even the new gnome2 terminal) use tabs. They
are great becuase it makes things much easier to manage (IMHO). Well
obviously you see where I am going with this.

I started looking at the nautilus code (breifly so this could be
completly off base) and that the screens where defined in the Nautilus
window structure (or something like that). Now I know that its not as
easy as just adding a GtkNotebook to the structure (from stuff that I
tried to notebookize) so I am asking is what is the possibilty of having
tabs as a feature once the Gtk2 port is finished? Or am I offbase with
the usefullness of tabs?
