Hmmm, realized that too...

Using metadata gives us another problem: If we set preference to show
hidden files in new windows and have a diffrent value in metadata, which
value should we use?
And if we are in a folder with the show hidden set in metadata and then
change to another folder with the show hidden not set, this changes from
beeing a 'window setting' to a 'folder setting'.

So, is there any way to store temporary settings for views to 
read from/write to in Nautilus windows?
Because the problem with the patch is that it reads the preference every
time a new view is created, and not when the window is created.
