Hello all.
I am using Nautilus 1.0.6 and Gnome-VFS 1.0.4 from Mandrake Linux.
Everything seems to work fine except "large files" -- i.e. files that
are bigger than 2GB (2^32).
When Nautilus shows files greater than 2GB in the file browser, their
size is shown as "..." and their type is shown as unknown even though
Nautilus should know they are MPEGs just like any other MPEG in the
directory.
I saw reference in the list that Nautilus just uses whatever GnomeVFS
uses for file sizes so I inserted some debugging and determined that
GnomeVFS is correctly reading the size of the file and storing that
into the GnomeVFSFileInfo's size member.
I have spent quite a bit of time trying to chase down where between
GnomeVFS and Nautilus this information is getting lost but I am unable
to.
Any ideas?
