I was referring to Havoc's comment:

One of the EOG issues was that the UI acts differently. It sounded like
the differences were being thought of as regressions. I just wanted to
point out that I think those differences are really pretty good
features, not necessarily regressions.
There is one change I'd make if EOG were the default image viewer. I'd
like to add an an "edit with" option in EOG. This is one UI regression
compared to Nautilus. It would be nice to be able to open Gimp from EOG
after I see which picture I want to edit. Having Nautilus open Gimp
directly is an overkill for initial inspection. EOG does a better job
of inspecting.
By the way... I use EOG just like I'd use a loupe on slides when
inspecting them. If someone's looking for a new non-gnome name for EOG,
would something along the lines of a "Digital Loupe" metaphore be a good
idea? I guess the word loupe is too obscure, but I thought it was a
cool name for it.
