One idea i had for this was to make the throbber settable via a global gconf 
key but dont expose this in the ui(theming of the throbber seems like a 
little overkill for general ui, but may be appropriate for some sort of power 
tools package) also perhaps when there is easy toolbar editing implemented 
for bonobo toolbars, one of the editing options could be to change the 
throbber.
