[Nautilus-list] Desktop [root] as front window

This isn't possible now but what if the desktop could be
the front (top) window? You click on the desktop (root) and the
window is put in front of everything. If you click betveen
icons and hits a window then it is put back behind the other
windows.

This assume a window that is transparent betveen the icons and
this is a bit difficult with Nautilus present desktop. (?)
